Delicious fresh Mexican food. Tacos were amazing and salsa too. Outdoor seating for a nice day and great margaritas!

We have eaten here several times in recent months and always leave happy, and full. My wife is absolutely addicted to Mexican food, so we go to a lot of Mexican restaurants. Since moving to Fort Collins, it's been difficult to find good, authentic Mexican food. Most places seem to smother everything in pork green chile (why?!), and generally lack on flavor. Pueblo Viejo is much more authentic! Prices are a bit high, as is everything in Old Town, but definitely worth a stop!

It was... meh. I wouldn't do it again. My wife wanted Mexican food, I wanted a happy wife, and we both scored on that account.
Good News? The portions are huge. The plates are about the size of hubcaps off a '72 Chevy Impala. And not a low rider Impala with those little wheels. You know what I'm talking about, que? Oldies cranking out, velvet interior with the little dog statue on the dash whose head bounces chaka-chaka-chaka while running from the police. Not that kind of Impala size. These were Texas farmer's wife Impala size tires. The bigger tires and shocks to keep her gravy laden ass cruising backroads comfortably, dodging armadillos, and seeing the country preacher on the sly big.
The staff were nice, the restaurant open and airy, and the restrooms clean.
Bad News? I thought it was just so-so. My wife had steak nachos and I had a combination plate. She thought the nachos were pretty good. Mine was pretty bland, except for the crispy chili relleno. That was okay. Our total was just under $40.00.
Parking is dicey. Street parking is available, but finding an open space is like winning the lotto. Seems like only those (1) getting ready to die or (2) immigrants win big. There is a paid parking structure nearby, but I don't know what it costs. (That's because we fit in category #1 - we're likely not long for this world.)
Like I said, I won't go again. If the wife wants Mexican for dinner again we'll either find a better place or I'll find her a day laborer at Home Depot. -

Got Food Poisoning on 4th of July... My bf and went in for some Mexican food for the 4th and I immediately was sick. My pork Chimichanga came out soaking wet and the meat was grey. I ate about half before I felt I was going to be Ill. We left as quick as possible but the super slow service made it difficult. We paid 45$ for 2 meals a drink and hurried out of there as quick as possible. I am absolutely floored I had paid almost 50$ to get sick. I highly do not recommend. I am livid.

I like this place a lot. They have a really fresh tasting salsa and a delicious bean dip that they give you complimentary at the start of your meal. I have gotten tacos, burritos and fajitas here and all have been decently delicious. Their margs are strong and tasty and they usually have a special or two every day on a drink or food item. I have never been disappointed when I have gone here, though I have been to better places for more authentic Mexican food. It's good Tex mex, and the servers are friendly. Definitely good food for the price and I would recommend it.
